Moody Center West Lobby

The projection-mapped installation in the West Lobby at Moody Center transforms a monumental architectural wall into a dynamic digital canvas visible throughout the venue.

Designed as a permanent installation, the system supports a wide range of content including custom artwork, event branding, sponsorship activations, seasonal experiences, and venue messaging. The projection surface spans multiple stories and serves as a visual centerpiece within one of the arena's primary circulation spaces.

OptArt developed the projection mapping, media server programming, and playback systems that allow the installation to support a wide range of content. The system is designed to accommodate custom artwork, event branding, sponsorship activations, and venue messaging while maintaining accurate alignment across the architectural surface.

At Moody Center, the projection system extends beyond large-scale architectural content to support interactive experiences throughout the venue. One example is Tiles, an interactive environment that transforms a backstage corridor into a playful field of color, motion, and light.
