Light as Experience
Light installations occupy a unique space between architecture, technology, and art. While some projects are designed primarily to support a building or venue, others function as public artworks that encourage exploration, interaction, and discovery.
Our approach draws from both worlds. As an installation artist, Geoffrey Hicks frequently develops large-scale public artworks that use light as a primary material. Through OptArt, that same perspective is applied to permanent architectural installations, entertainment venues, museums, and public spaces.
Every project is developed in response to its environment, creating experiences that feel integrated, intentional, and distinctive. From subtle architectural enhancements to large-scale immersive environments, we focus on using light to create places people remember.
